I joined Würth Industrie Service as an intern in October 2020. It led to a working student position during my bachelor’s degree and ultimately to a direct entry into SAP Consulting . My degree in Business Informatics, with a focus on Business Software, provided the ideal foundation for this path.
From an early stage, I took on responsibility - including mentoring dual-study students, interns and working students. Throughout this journey, I found consistent support and was able to grow into the role step by step, rather than being thrown in at the deep end.
Today, I am working as an SAP consultant specialising in production planning and logistics. Together with the specialist departments, I analyse processes, develop concepts and support implementation - from the initial idea and development phase through to training and go-live.
Our solutions are used worldwide across the Würth Industrial Network. As a result, around 80% of my work has an international focus - much of it involving direct collaboration with colleagues from our international subsidiaries.
What matters most to me is making people feel welcome. As a mentor, I want to provide reassurance, ease concerns and share knowledge in a way that offers genuine help. To me, training and development are all about teamwork - everyone contributes their expertise, and hierarchy plays only a minor role. Our working culture is open and personal, shaped by mutual support.
My first major project in the USA had a particularly strong impact on me: the SAP centralisation of several companies, including production planning. Seeing first-hand how our solutions work on site was incredibly valuable. That is exactly what I enjoy most about my role - variety, responsibility and continuous learning.
